Trick 1:
How to Place Facebook Chat On Firefox Sidebar
Facebook Chat is cool, at least it allows you to send instant messages to online Facebook contacts. However I’m not really a fan of the chat bar being at the bottom of the page, what if I’ve left Facebook but still wants to remain chatting with my Facebook contacts?
If you are using Firefox, you can place the Facebook Chat at the sidebar.
1. Look for Bookmarks on the top navigation. Select Organize Bookmarks…
2. Click New Bookmark… tab and enter the following:
Name: Facebook Chat
Location: http://www.facebook.com/presence/popout.php
Check Load this bookmark in sidebar
3. Launch the Firefox sidebar, click Facebook Chat and start chatting with your Facebook contacts within Firefox.
4. Enjoy !!!
Trick 2:
AVOID FRIEND REQUEST BLOCK
We usually send friend requests and if it's not accepted it is kept in pending. If there are lots of pending requests it may lead to block. So this is a simple way to get those requests cancelled and protect your account from being blocked.
1. Go to account settings.
2. Select `download a copy option 3. Choose `expanded archive` from the next page opened and enter your password and click continue.
4. Select `start my archive`. 5. After a few hours you'll get the download link in your email. 6. Download the file `facebook` and unzip it. 7. Open the folder html and then `friend_requests.html`. 8. You can see the list of your friend requests and pending lists. Now goto their accounts and click`cancel request.
Trick 3:
Making Your Profile Photo Un-clickable
Not everyone really wants to have their header image clickable, but yet that’s the way Facebook header images work, or do they? Well, if you’re curious, you should give this one a try:
1. Go to your Albums – > Profile Pictures
2. Select your current profile picture.
3. Adjust privacy setting to “Only Me”
